A digital tribute to the award-winning party game.
Wavelength Online is a web-based adaptation of Wavelength, the hit social guessing game designed by Wolfgang Warsch, Alex Hague, and Justin Vickers.
This project was built to bring the joy of "telepathic" connection to friends and families who may not be in the same room. It captures the core mechanics of the physical board game—the satisfying dial, the tension of the reveal, and the hilarious debates that follow—and packages it into a seamless, instant-play browser experience.
Using modern web technologies like Next.js, React, and Supabase, Wavelength Online offers real-time synchronization across devices. This means when you spin the dial on your phone, your friends see it move on their screens instantly. No app downloads tailored for any specific platform—just share a link and play.
This project is open source and built with love. We believe in the power of games to bring people together. If you're a developer interested in how this was built, or want to contribute, check out the repository.
